Our training... >>builds athleticism emphasizing explosive speed, power, and endurance >>is excellent for ALL athletes ranging in age from 10 through adult >>consists of very intense, structured workouts that are customized to the athletes needs >>will quickly get athletes acclimated to the heat and humidity that they will encounter on the playing field. >>includes personalized supervision, instruction, and evaluation >>has very limited class sizes, with a maximum of 12 athletes per class with the first class starting at 8am and the last class starting at 7pm The Speed Attic training techniques stimulate the body’s neuromuscular system so that the nervous system functions better and quicker. Core postural muscles and micro-muscles of the spine are stimulated. The training at The Speed Attic develops a proper foundation for running and jumping by correcting weaknesses, imbalances, and deficiencies as the body learns to strengthen itself and find balance and spatial position. This method of training is very anaerobic and causes the body to undergo neovascularization. What is neovascularization? It is the body’s ability to produce new blood vessels to the working muscles. The benefit of training this way is that it will improve the athlete’s endurance immensely. This allows the muscle to work explosively faster, longer and harder without fatiguing. The traditional method of training hardly ever causes this to occur. Results achieved at The Speed Attic are impossible to achieve with traditional weight training programs. The result is an increase in overall athleticism. Run faster and jump higher. With the core muscles highly toned the athlete also benefits with a decrease in injuries.
