More for the Athlete

The Speed Attic program is a proven method.  The original Speed Attic is in Greenville, Mississippi in the attic of a warehouse and most recently we have opened in Rock Island Illinois.  In just eight weeks of training the dedicated athlete is rewarded with outstanding results.  The average improvement in just eight weeks of training is approximately a 4 - 5 tenths of a second off of their 40 yd. dash.  The typical increase in the athlete’s vertical jump has been approximately 5 inches.  We have had some outstanding results.  Some have been almost unbelievable.

Here's how The Speed Attic program works.  These training techniques stimulate the body’s neuromuscular system so that the nervous system functions better and quicker.  Core postural muscles and micro muscles of the spine are stimulated as well with this program.  The result is an increase in overall athleticism.  Run faster and jump higher. With the core muscles highly toned the athlete also benefits with a decrease in injuries.

This method of training is very anaerobic and causes the body to undergo neovascularization.  What is neovascularization?  It is the body’s ability to produce new blood vessels to the working muscles.  The benefit of training this way is that it will improve the athlete’s endurance immensely.  This allows the muscle to work explosively faster, longer and harder without fatiguing. The traditional method of training hardly ever causes this to occur. Results achieved at The Speed Attic are impossible to achieve with traditional weight training programs.  The Speed Attic training develops a proper foundation for running and jumping by correcting athletic weaknesses, imbalances, and inefficiencies.  The body learns to straighten itself and find balance and spatial position.
